"Last of the Fortesque line. The Colonel led his men to a watery grave. He fights on in death in the vain hope of one day tasting victory."
― Official in-game description.

Colonel Freddie Fortesque is a character in Ghosthunter who aids you during the H.M.S. Victoria stage.

Fortesque, before being decapitated by Kraken, was stationed on the ship to protect Her Majesty's Gold, as he referred to. This was ultimately Dagger of Poseidon which led to a battle between Kraken and Fortesque's men and their deaths at each other's hands.

Not much else is known about Fortesque but it is assumed that he may be either a relative or simply a reference to the main character of MediEvil, Sir Daniel Fortesque.
