The Redneck Chief is a character in Ghosthunter that appears in the Oakville stage. Initially, the Chief is believed to be an enemy of Lazarus after knocking him unconscious and holding him prisoner but is quickly shown to have known Professor Peter Richmond after Astral approaches him upon leaving Lazarus' body.
The Chief's motives for befriending Lazarus are relatively simple: He needs someone to rescue his relative, Jessie Planter, from Lady De Montford's mansion after she was abducted whilst playing in the swamps.
